This egg uses the diagonal division. I based the design on the crown of the Russian Snow Maiden by Boris Zworykin (The Firebird and Other Russian Fairy Tales, 1978).
I'm not exactly satisfied with the result -- expect some updates to this design... it has lots of potential. It is entirely dominated by diamonds (knowledge) and uses those contemporary blues (truth and fidelity) with white (purity). Update: Snow Maiden II.
