Deer, like horses and rams, are a symbol of prosperity and leadership. The tree of life symbolizes renewal and creation while the fruit (apples) represent a good life, health, and wisdom. Included in the borders are baskets, the eye of god (triangle with a circle in it), and St. Andrew's cross.
