It is said that as long as pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) are being made somewhere in the world, the balance between good and evil is maintained. This blog is a record of my own contributions to saving the world from evil.

Rooster Heaven (Goose Egg)
This pysanka was inspired by UGS Design Book 1 Egg Number 17. I used the medallion from Egg Number 17 as a repeating motif in an alternate saddlebags-based division.
On this pysanka:
Rooster: Rich married life with the blessing of many children.
Hen: Fertility.
Rooster comb: masculinity
Wheat: abundant harvest, good health
Spiders: patience
Windmill (in this case, made out of roosters): happiness and prosperity
Baskets: providing for others
Spirals: mysteries of life and death, divinity and immorality
Final color, black: eternity
