It is said that as long as pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) are being made somewhere in the world, the balance between good and evil is maintained. This blog is a record of my own contributions to saving the world from evil.

Ram
I adapted this pysanka from one featured in Ukrainian Easter Eggs: And How We Make Them.
On this pysanka:
Ram: leadership and creativity
Baskets (triangles with cross-hatches): providing for others, motherhood
Flower (top and bottom of egg): charity and good will
Vine with berries: cycle of life, berries represent rewards for good deeds or the products of a virtuous life
Eight-pointed star: sun, life force, God's love
Pine needles: eternal youth and health, eternity
Dots: seeds, drops of Christ's blood
Triangles: holy trinity, the elements
Final color, green: spring, new life, freedom; victory of life over death
