40 Days of Pysanky 17: Ruzha
This is a replica of a folk pysanka from Vira Manko's The Ukrainian Folk Pysanka (Table 37, No. 8) from Kozats'ka Sloboda, Kurs'k region. This is ethnographically the northern Slobozhanshchyna region, now in current day Russia. In 2013, I wrote a version of this design with a different color scheme and some alterations to the motifs.
