It is said that as long as pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) are being made somewhere in the world, the balance between good and evil is maintained. This blog is a record of my own contributions to saving the world from evil.

Hutsul Fish
Adapted from two different (but similar) fish pysanky in Elyjiw's Sixty Score of Easter Eggs.
On this egg:
Fish: health (also Christ and Christianity, fishers of men, etc)
Nets/baskets: motherhood, collecting knowledge, providing for others
Wave meander: wealth and baptism
St. Andrew's cross: patron saint of Ukraine
Final color, dark red: fire, action, passion, hope (also divine love and the passion of Christ)
