It is said that as long as pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) are being made somewhere in the world, the balance between good and evil is maintained. This blog is a record of my own contributions to saving the world from evil.

"Bezkonechnyk" - Eternity Egg
My own variation on a type of pysanka represented in Elyjiw's Sixty Score of Easter Eggs. This is a folk pysanka whose name means "an ornament without an end" and is really just a giant, continuous meander.
Elyjiw writes, "Beeekeepers in Ukraine used to place Easter eggs with bezkonechnyk under beehives in the apiary so that their bees may swarm "without end."
