40 Days of Pysanky 10: Verdant Cross

My own design. The major motif (large white spaces defining the petals) was inspired by a unattributed pysanka featured in the recent Yevshan mail catalogue.

40 Days of Pysanky 9: Tree of Life with Horses II

This is a recoloring of a diasporan design featured on a UGS postcard that I've done once before.

40 Days of Pysanka 8: Цвіток / "Flower"

This pysanka is a replica of one featured in Marina Verkova's *Pysanky Podillia* (P. 127, No. 366) from Kamianets, Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

40 Days of Pysanky 7: Flying Close to the Sun III (Duck Egg)

This is a design I've been working on for many years. It's appeared on this blog as "Flying Close to the Sun" in 2014 and "Flying Close to the Sun II" in 2016. It is a modern division and uses many elements borrowed from Taras Horodetsky.

40 Days of Pysanky 5: Rushnyk

This was adapted from a diasporan design from an unknown source (let me know if you think you know what that source is). I changed the color scheme and a tiny bit of the design.

40 Days of Pysanky 3: Sakvy with Floral Motif

Replicated from a folk design from Kitsman Raion, Chernivtsi Oblast. It is featured in Our Grandmothers Pysanky, Yuriy Ferenchuk's published collection of Bukovynian pysanky (p. 185). This design is attributed to Genya Mykolayivna.

40 Days of Pysanky 2: Filigree of Pine and Leaves

This design was adapted from a modern pysanka (avtorska) from Volyn. I changed the color scheme and tightened the overall division closer to the center of the egg.
