This beautiful design is a modified version of Egg Number 15 from Ukrainian Easter Egg Design Book 2. 
On this egg:
Horses: prosperity, endurance, and speed. My horses appear to be much better fed than Luba's.
Tree: (the plant between the two horses) eternal youth and health
Diamonds: knowledge
Stars/suns: (border above and below the horses) life force, love of God

Final color, dark red: fire, passion, love, and hope; divine love and passion of Christ.
